I chose to work on a fear of flying and a fear of driving on the freeway. My fear of flying was complete. I could get on an airplane if I took Xanax, but I would have significant fears for weeks in advance and feel so relieved when I hit the ground that I would just be exhausted.
The fear of freeway driving was pretty complete too and it really got in the way of my ability to get around in California.
The program was great to work with. I thought my practitioner was very professional and very knowledgeable and very understanding of my concerns about growing too quickly, doing too much too soon.
So the techniques that I learned are great. I use them everyday still, in all manner of things. The success was wonderful. The first time I flew the techniques taught me how not to be afraid of the flight beforehand and how not to be surprised by my success afterward.
So that was really wonderful.
The driving thing, it going to be something that I work with probably for the rest of my life because the freeways in California are just so hairy, but I am so much better about dealing with it now. And the techniques are just incredible.
