Pills and Medication
The use of drugs and medication for Somniphobia is not encouraged in our program because they generally mask the problem, rather than tackling the cause. Meds may seem to help in the short-term by temporarily improving your symptoms, but the problem is that they can never cure the core issue of the fearful patterns of thinking that are the automatic reaction to sleep and which trigger the intense feelings of fear.
